Installation of shutters

  • dismantling of wings, glazing of fixed structure
  • mounting the fixing brackets on the case or making the mounting holes
  • the distance between the fixing points is determined by the size of the opening, with a minimum of 400 mm between the two fixing points
  • the casement of the opening is placed in the wall cavity, adjusted horizontally and vertically with wedges, the diagonal is checked by measuring if the adjustment is inaccurate the opening will not function as intended
  • after fixing, the wings are reassembled and the fixed structures are glazed
  • after the function test, the gap between the enclosure and the wall opening is sealed with thermal insulation material
  • foam protruding from the plane of the enclosure should be cut off immediately before any specialist work (e.g. covering, masonry restoration) following installation
  • professional installation is a prerequisite for the reliable functioning of windows and doors

Masonry works
